4 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WATER

Water is known scientifically as universal solvent. It plays a keen role in our daily life activities and also in plants. To know how important it is in our body we may decide not to eat for hours, days or even weeks but we can never stay such long without water.

Water helps to maintain and regulate body temperature. This is the reason why we take a shower after working/walking in heavy sunlight.

In biological view, water play important role as it help in digestion and transportation of nutrients round the body (note that water constitute the larger percentage of body fluid while cellular components constitute little).

It also help in detoxification of harmful substances in the body which are either released as urine or sweat.

We must also know that water helps to lubricate the joints, stomach and the intestine. The main reason why we drink water before food after long fast is to keep the stomach relaxed and lubricated to prevent shrinking. Drinking pure water is essential for healthy living.
